Welcome to the New Jersey Options Group (NJOG)

NJOG is a group of stock and options traders who work together to become better traders. Our groupsite allows us to collaborate and coordinate our efforts and resources effectively and efficiently.

In terms of trading knowledge, skill, and experience our members range from beginners to experts. While we differ in our backgrounds, we have a common passion for growth, learning, participation, and sharing. We are serious traders who want to work with other serious traders. As such, we require NJOG members to demonstrate at least a threshold level of involvement in order to maintain "active" status within NJOG. The threshold level of involvement essentially boils down to being active within one of our Regional Interest/Study Groups (i.e., a base group). Members choose whichever of these groups is most convenient for them:

  • North West Interest/Study Group (Morris, Union, Warren counties)
  • North East Interest/Study Group (Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic counties)
  • Central Interest/Study Group (Mercer, Middlesex, Hunterdon, Somerset counties)

In addition, we have full meetings periodically where guest speakers are invited to present. In the past, Steve Meisinger of the OIC has presented on several occasions.

Please explore our site and use it - as well as your active participation within NJOG - to become a better trader.

We encourage all members to post something to our site with each visit since member participation is the lifeblood or our group.

Check Out Our Site:

  • The "Summary" tab brings you to our summary page which provides information about NJOG and links to our member profiles, member objectives, and member key connections site pages. The Summary page also includes information about important upcoming events/dates, a list of web links that members want to share with other members, and information about how to use our site.
  • The "Communicate" tab provides access to our discussion forums, our blog, and email blasts. There is a discussion forum for each of our three Regional Interest/Study Groups. Other Forums are added as needed. Just click on a forum to enter it and join the discussion by posting a new "topic" or responding to an existing topic.
  • The "Share" tab provides access to our calendar, our file cabinet, and our photo gallery.

     Happy Trading!!!
